Day #120- Pig-Tails

When The Girl's hair was 1st long enough, she wore it in pigtails all the time. Well, now that "I'm almost 5 mom!" she rarely does-as she prefers the more mature headbands, lol. Every once in awhile she does and it makes me smile- as a part of me still sees her as that chubby little 2yr old :)

Oh- and do you like my new song? My DH is a big Guster fan. After dinner most nights he plays guitar- and this is one he's been playing a lot lately. It's stuck in my head lately- and makes me smile :)

Day #119- My Pre-Teenager

This boy has a thousand different expressions- he's just a very facially expressive person! (is that a word, I don't know) and sometimes he gives me looks that instantly make me see him as a teenager :) ISO 100 ~ f/2.8 ~ 1/250

Day #118- Bee Watcher

Boy #2 is currently obsessed with bees. As in obsessed and fearful of being stung. This evening in our 3-season porch there was a honeybee buzzing around- and he was watching it very keenly :) ISO 200 ~ f/2.8 ~ 1/100

Day #117- Kids Stuff

This weekend is was my local MOMs club sale (Mothers of Mutiples) so this week I've been crazy trying to get all my kids stuff labeled for the sale. Here's a little peak at what the sale looks like- as we set-up tonight for the sale tomororw- this is about 10% of the sale floor. It's like a giant garage sale- with 100 moms of multiples selling their stuff :)

Day #116- Playgroup Campfire

Today was our weekly playgroup and our host thought it would be fun to do a little bonfire- the kids LOVED it- they all had so much fun roasting their own marshmallows and throwing sticks in the fire :)

Day #113- Angel of the Kitchen

This weekend was 2 of my favorite people's birthday :) They share the same Bday (1yr apart in age) and this year I had the pleasure of spending their special day with them! :)

Day #111- On Top of Spaghetti...

Today was my monthly Cooking Club with my girlfriends- our "theme" this month was to stock pile some meals- as one of our members is having her 1st child very soon! :)
So one of my tasks today was the meatball maker :) I think I did about 100 of these suckers!

Day #110- 1st of the Season

I think one of my kids favorite things about the weather getting warmer- is popsicles :) They LOVE popsicles- and as soon as it gets warm they can't wait! So here's the 1st of the season :)

Day #109- Spring Swinging

His expression makes me smile- one of his comfort things is to rub his sleeve or his blanket on his lips/chin. Apparantly the swing chain worked well too :)

Day #107- A Boy & His Dog

Our beast is a herding dog by nature- so when the kids ride their bikes or scooters he often jogs besides them- up and down the street. We live at the end of a dead-end so the kids do laps over and over again...and he just runs along side! Until he gets too tired- then he sits by the mailbox and keeps his eye on them :)

My Bday is on Friday, so I bought myself a present :) I picked up the Tamrom 28-75 2.8 and I LOVE it so far. Since I take so many indoor pictures....in MN....the wider ap is just what I needed. It's pretty sharp- so I'm very pleased :)

Day #99- Owie

The Girl's. She has a chewing habit- (fingernails, toenails, etc) and this week managed to chew these till they bled. Sigh... I told her I'm going to buy her some dog chew toes pretty soon! Day #98- The #2 Cousin

My kids have 3 cousins- all girls, all sisters :) This is #2 on Easter Sunday during the egg hunt outside at my ILs house. She made me laugh with her 5yr old attitude :)

Day #97- 3 Peas on Easter Saturday

Every year at Easter I *attempt* a group pic of the trio at my dad's. It doesn't matter when I do it- before candy, after, mid....it's always a disaster! lol Although the 1st one makes me laugh. :) The 2nd is their typical expressions these days....they are so OVER me taking their photos. SOOC except for cropping. I broke out my speedlite for these also. I never use it and really should play with it more....

Day #96- Candyland Raw vs Jpeg

Two photos taken back to back while the kids played. One shot in RAW and the other shot in Jpeg. Can you tell which is which? Which do you like better? I was hoping to prefer the jpeg but I don't! Damn you Lulu :) lol
Although I converted the RAW one in cs2 because it's faster than rawshooter when I'm just doing one photo. I'm ordering a new computer in the next 2 weeks- I'm pretty sure I'm going to switch to Mac. I just need to swallow my fear and drive myself to the apple store :) RAW will be much more manageable once I have it. ISO 800 ~ 1.8 ~ 1/50 and F/2.2 ~ 1/40

Day #94- Post Processing

Post processing has always been hard for me.... I tend to only ever make small changes/tweaks. But being inspired by some others, I've been trying to go out of my comfort zone a little. :)

Day #93- Spring in My Yard

Still raining (and a little snow- no!) but I walked our yard and did see some signs that it's COMING! :) Spring that is. I have no idea what the top 2 are, I never remember flower/plant names- plus these were planted by the previous owners, lol. But the bottom is chives. I planted them last year- had no idea they were a perennial! Cool!

Okay- Lulu these are for you. Can you guess why? I swallowed my fear and made the leap! To RAW that is (also the 3 previous days postings are too- I just didn't say it) I do like it and it's not as scary as I thought! lol But it's made my PC seem to be even more of a dinosaur- talk about SLOW....I do like your freebie program a lot better than the built in for CS2 though- so thanks!
